Scheda abbinata a un 3800x, nel complesso è un ottima scheda ma secondo me non vale 400€, l’unica cosa che mi ha dato fastidio è il driver audio, fa schifo a dir poco.
La colpa di ciò è da attribuire anche a Windows che ha le sue app schifose che vanno in contrasto col driver facendolo crashare

Non ho avuto rimpianti, è una signora scheda madre. La utilizzo da 1 mese, e sia nell’installazione, che nell’utilizzo vero e proprio, non ho avuto nessun tipo di problema. Non serve essere un overclocker per poterla apprezzare.

I want to add these photos as I received these items today. The motherboard did not have the standard shrink wrapping nor did it come with an anti static bag that all pc parts in my experience come in. Should I have any issues I will be returning the item and expect a replacement. I will amend my rating once I am satisfied that there are no issues. This is not directed at the product just at the general delivery and packaging.

I love this motherboard, I currently have a 5950x in there and it runs perfectly well. The board has no issues supplying power at all.
The main things I love about this motherboard are:
– The reset BIOS button on the back IO
– The error code LED on the board
– Start power button on the motherboard
– It just looks good
The only problems are that the board is very expensive and you can definitely get cheaper boards that can run the new ryzen 5000 chips no problem. Also I have had this board for 6 months or so now and the fan has not caused any…

Non è super rapido dover riavviare per passare a valori di risparmio energetico a quelli di overclock.
Riconosce e pilota benissimo anche ventole da 3 pin riconoscendo velocità minima di rotazione e regolando di conseguenza.
Non eccessivamente illuminata come nei modelli precedenti, riconosce i profili estremi per le ram.

Bricked bios on update to latest. Cannot obtain 0506 on Asus support to attempt reflash. Now need to return to Amazon for replacement. Asus support total letdown. Appreciate issues do arise on new kit, it’s the support that deals with it that sets a company apart from rest. 10 year loyal customer of Asus and ROG

MB eccellente per il processore in oggetto (e, di conseguenza, anche per i nuovi Ryzen serie 5000). BIOS standard di ASUS ROG, facile da comprendere dopo qualche minuto.
Essendo la prima configurazione AMD che ho fatto mi ci è voluto qualche minuto per comprendere esattamente dove fossero i parametri per l’overclock delle RAM e gestioni particolari di boot/raid, ma è tutto li, basta cercarlo.
Asus sempre sinonimo di affidabilità e sicurezza.

Had a good old shop around for a top tier motherboard to partner my Ryzen 5900X, and the ROG family was always my first choice. Chose the MAXIMUS VIII Hero as covers just about every base and I didn’t need WiFi (hard connected) and have to say, I’m thoroughly impressed. It’s a solid board with just about every feature you could need, from the 2.5G ethernet to all the latest in USB 3.2 tech (front USB C 3.2 connector that works perfectly with Oculus Link, plus rear USB 3.2 gen1 and gen2 slots (including another USBC 3.2 gen2).

The Hero offers all the connectivity and features you need. Other than that you get it all from proper M.2 performance, dual multi-GPU slots, eight SATA3 slots, all the USB connectivity you need and overall a lovely looking product. The big plus, of course, is the PCIe Gen 4.0 infrastructure the X570 platform with Ryzen 3000 offers. It does open up a plethora of faster storage options. Then again, a fast PCIe Gen 3.0 storage unit, is more than fine as well.
