Wow what a difference space and speed make. The Samsung 1tb stock Apple drive had read write speeds about 735 mb/s. New one about 1300 mb/S. Sold the old one for $250 for someone upgrading MB pro 13 retina 2015 from 128 gigs. I have a MB pro 15 2014. Wow

So far so good. I got the item on May 15th 2020. I noticed the hard drive did not come with any thermal paste. If it last less than 3 years I’ll be very disappointed and I’ll be back update my review. But it fixed my problem so right not in satisfied. (Update 2021) well I said if it last less than 3yrs I’ll update my review. It’s now may 13th, the thing did not even last a year. I do not recommend this product

For 13″ macbook air 2015. It worked like the original one. When booting select the Fledging SSD and go thru the step by step procedure.

So I bit the bullet and purchased the maxed the 2tb ssd for my Mid-2015 MacBook Pro which only had 250Gb before. Woooooooow! What a difference the SSD makes! my computer works like new and I don’t need an external drive semi-permanently attached with velcro to my laptop! If you’re a photographer or videographer, you’ll be thrilled with this upgrade!

This is a good replacement and upgrade for my Macbook Pro Retina 2014. So far so good… but I benchmarked my Macbook pro and it didn’t reach the speed that it claims for write and read.
