La scheda è morta dopo circa 5 mesi di utilizzo, sospetto per via delle alte temperature delle memorie GDDR6X.
Ciò che è peggio è che sembra che Amazon ignori totalmente ogni tipo di richiesta di assistenza, in due giorni non sono ancora riuscito a mettermi in contatto con un operatore, sia le mail, le chat che le chiamate vengono totalmente ignorate.

Had initial teething problems with this when I tried installed it.
1. Blew my PSU (even though it was an 850w PSU).
2. It requires 2 x 8 pin power plugs (not many PSUs come with those as standard – needed an adapter).
3. Burnt out one of the adapter leads due to the power it draws.
Eventually bought a modular 1kw PSU to solve my power requirements.
Then found the motherboard had difficulty detecting the card, sometimes it would work fine, others the BIOS failed to recognise it.
The cause of that problem is the edge connector of the GPU didn’t always make contact with every ‘finger’ inside the PCI-E slot due to the length of the connector and the location of the ‘fingers’ within the slot (sometimes the gold connectors didn’t quite make it all the way to the ‘fingers’).
The solution, press the card firmly into the slot, bolt it in place and, if you have one, use a support bracket to prevent the card moving.
Once I finally solved all the problems, the card itself works like a dream, only one game causes any framerate slow-down, CyberPunk 2077 – using every setting on Max with a 4K monitor, even then, it was still payable with a framerate of around 20-30 FPS when really stressed.
When the GPU is being heavily used, it does get quite warm (DLSS/Ray Tracing) but the fans keep it stable.
Altogether, not a bad GPU but they could have made the edge connector a little longer to improve connectivity, they should have provided some power adapters for the 2 x 8-pin sockets and maybe offer the Support Bracket as a bundled option.

muy bueno en velocidad. pero se ve afectado por la temperatura exterior. Necesita ajustar bien la circulación de aire. el panel trasero se calienta mucho.

Grafikkarte hat natürlich ordentlich Power. Wie aber diversen Reviews bereits entnommen werden kann ist der Kühler nicht besonders gut. Die Founders Edition der RTX 3090 hat bereits einen besseren Kühler. Unter Volllast wird der Kühler deutlich lauter als z.b. der einer MSI RXT 3090 Suprim oder MSI RTX 3090 Gaming X Trio. Temperaturen sind auch deutlich höher. Gigabyte hat zudem wohl bei allen Grafikkarten bei den Wärmeleitpads gespart, so dass der Speicher auf der Rückseite deutlich schneller die Maximaltemperatur erreicht und drosselt. Damit geht dann leider Leistung verloren. Wenn man bedenkt, dass die FE eine UVP von um die 1500 Euro hat und die Topmodelle zum Start für um die 1700-1800 Euro auf dem Markt kamen, wäre eine UVP von etwa 1200-1300 Euro für das Produkt angemessen. Aber aktuelle haben wir natürlich Mining Hochphase und da nimmt man was verfügbar ist. 🙂
Fazit: Für die meisten Nutzer bestmögliche Leistung, die man kaufen kann mit Abstrichen bei der Kühlung. Falls anderere Modelle verfügbar sollte man zu anderen Herstellern greifen.

Dopo tante ricerche ho deciso di non mangiare e pagare il mutuo per qualche mese, che dire scelta azzeccatissima sono riuscito a perdere i kg di troppo che non volevano andare via, inoltre ad oggi grazie a questa scheda riesco a giocare a prato fiorito in maniera eccellente stabile negli FPS, con la qualità delle texture al top e risoluzione 4k riesco a percepire dettagli che prima in prato fiorito non riuscivo a percepire. La consiglio a tutti quelli nella mia situazione.

Non la comprate e una truffa

Sarebbe un buon prodotto se fosse arrivata funzionante e quindi idonea a svolgere le funzioni per cui è stata pensata. Il problema purtroppo che ho riscontrato con anche la visione di un tecnico informatico, risiede nei 2 connettori di alimentazione 8 pin leggermente più corti della norma e alcuni ballerini non permettendo quindi ai cavi dell’alimentatore del pc di collegarsi e alimentare la scheda.
Tale problema è già noto al produttore in Gran Bretagna e il famoso overclocker Der8auer nel suo canale YouTube lo ha evidenziato in un video.
Sono sicuro che il problema risiedeva nei primi esemplari messi in commercio, ma intanto per quanto mi riguarda ho dovuto renderla ad Amazon .

FA-VO-LO-SA. Sono ancora emozionato a scriverne. Partita senza una sbavatura. Incredibili i settaggi: ce n’è uno col quale puoi regolare gli fps in base alla qualità desiderata ed è un fatto stupefacente per quello che ottieni in qualità e/o prestazioni.
Unico sbavo il prezzo: però la roba bella è sempre costata un botto. Notevole anche il servizio Amazon che mi ha procurato la bramata 3090 e me l’ha consegnata in soli 3 gg.
Ho avuto anche la sorpresa (le sorprese con la Rtx 3090 si sono susseguite in un crescendo) che la Giga. dà con la registrazione del prodotto 4 (quattro) anni di garanzia.

come diceva il commento di un acquirente a ottobre 2020, la scheda ha questo problema.
acquistata a gennaio mi è durata fino al luglio 2021.
Poi la morte….
un dramma poi gestire con Amazon il rimborso, ho dovuto fare 5-6 telefonate per convincerli che la scheda non andava più…
