Ich guckte erst ziemlich doof aus der Wäsche – den Belastungstest mit Prime95 hielt die CPU nicht lange bei mir durch.
Nach wenigen Sekunden erreichte die CPU knapp 100 Grad und der Rechner fror irgendwann ein.
Obwohl ich einen der potentesten Luftkühler (einen Noctua D15) verbaut hatte, bekam dieser das Monster nicht in den Griff. Der Grund war: Wie auf vielen Boards lief die CPU völlig unlimitiert – die entsprechende Einstellung im Asus BIOS redet von einer Limitierung auf 4095 Watt.

Coming from an i7 7700k, this new CPU is a beast and boosted my performance in games with more than a 50% – especially on Battlefield 2042, New World, Anno 1800, No Man’s Sky which are very CPU bound type of games.
