I installed 5800X out of the box and to my despair – it did NOT boot 🙁 I really did NOT want to take the CPU apart and find another AMD cpu to update the bios so I read through the manual and this motherboard has a BIOS update BOOTABLE USB in the rear. What that means is that you can download the bios update on a different computer to an external USB stick, put the USB stick into the BOOTABLE USB rear, and during the bootup sequence, hold down the button next to the bootable USB rear and it will install the BIOS update after 5-10 mins. Worst value for your money, bought it back in dec and built my pc mid January and it just crapped out last week, won’t even boot into bios. Keep getting message that over current on usb detected shutting down to protect main board. I have disconnected every usb and undid the front case usb from the mother board and with nothing attached aside from a monitor the message continues to pop up, I’ve inspected every USB port for any internal damage and cannot find anything wrong. Très bon au niveau performance, style et compatibilité.
Cependant, des petits problèmes au niveau de l’installation:
-doit enlever le heat sink du m.2 pour visser la carte mère.
-toutes les pins pour les syst fans sont en bas, certain fils de mes fans ne se rendaient pas si elles étaient installées dans le haut du case. Des rallonges sont une option.
-Les cpu power pins sont 8+4, mon PSU kit avait seulement un fil 8/4+4 alors j’ai du en acheter un autre.
Une fois installé, j’ai aucun problèmes, c’est tres bon

Great board but needed to flash the bios because I couldn’t connect to any network no wifi or ethernet cable connection. After the flash everything appears fine so far. Decent board for sub 300$CAD.

Compre esta tarjeta madre para un armado nuevo, con ryzen 9, después de armar la computadora me di cuenta que no funcionaba el disco duró nvme solicite un cambio pensando que era el disco, y descubri que Es el puerto 0 el que no funciona, coloque el disco en el otro puerto (sin disipador, pues solo tiene disipador en el primero) y funciono bien, por desgracia en ese tiempo se me acabó la ventana de un mes para devolverla y no pude cambiarla, ahora descubro que también tiene problemas en los slots de ram, a veces se me reinicia la…
