Beh il titolo inganna, non è una ATX ma una mini atx

la MSI B550 A-pro series è il meglio sul mercato per un pc budget che monti Ryzen gen 3° ma anche per chi non vuole rinunciare a fare degli upgrade futuri con i ryzen gen 4° o con le nuove rtx 30, avendo a disposizione le PCIE 4.0.
La scheda si presenta in colorazione All-Black, pochi fronzoli, piuttosto semplice ma anche molto intuitiva da montare.
un Best Buy assoluto che seppellisce le b450 e che si avvicina molto anche ad essere un x570 killer.

Questa mobo è forse la migliore per la maggior parte di coloro che hanno intenzione di prendere un ryzen 5000.
Ha ottimi vrm (gli stessi mosefet della tomahawk, solo due fasi in meno) e massicce dissipazioni che tengono tranquillamente a bada anche un 5950x.
Essendo una b550, offre una porta pcie 4.0 per un ssd m2 ed un’altra pcie 4.0 per le schede di espansione (la scheda video in pratica). Se volete più porte pcie 4.0 bisogna andare sulle x570 ma, a meno che ne facciate usi professionali particolari, una b550 basta ed avanza.

Bought the B550-A PRO motherboard as it had what I needed for my PC upgrade. (Coming from FX-8350 build)
Once the new Ryzen CPUs are out, I will do a bios update and upgrade to one of those CPUs.
I have temporarily installed a Ryzen 3 3100 until the new CPUs arrive. Along with 2x 8GB sticks of Corsair DDR4 3200mhz ram. (Edit Feb2021: Have put Ryzen 5 5600X in it now after updating bios to latest)
Definitely liking the build quality and look of the board.
It has 6 SATAIII ports which I need as I have a lot of storage drives, and still use my PCs…

Probably the most reasonably priced B550 board given the VRM heatsink, and obvious chipset improvements over B450. The power delivery and heatsink cope better than the B450 Tomahawk when paired with higher-end processors (source: hardware unboxed). Plus you also get the added features of B550 over B450 – gen4 PCIe on the M.2 and GPU slots (but not the general purpose lanes).

I am not giving this a 5 star and you will see why.
After a month of building my PC this B550 motherboard is very good especially because of the price.
If you have a £1000-£1200 PC budget i highly recommend this
Pros: Lots of fan headers and RGB ones

Well I bit the bullet and splashed out on some components for a new multipurpose/gaming PC. I was able to reuse some items from my son’s recently upgraded machine, namely the PSU, a 500w EVGA, and the GPU, an old but still useful gigabyte gtx1060.

♻️ Ho deciso di acquistare questa scheda madre per assemblare il mio nuovo pc da gaming, un po’ mi sono lasciato convincere dalle recensioni, consigli che mi hanno dato e in particolar modo mi sono in fine lasciato convincere dal fatto che fosse una delle best budget mobo con il wi-fi e bluetooth inclusi (cosa non da poco, considerando che una scheda wifi/bt pci-e di buona qualità con supporto 5ghz vi costerebbe tra i 40/50 euro in più.

The board looks lovely and has nice features at a good price and would easily get 5 stars if it worked.
Sadly, mine doesn’t (it won’t POST). The board is too new for any advice or troubling shooting hints to be available on the interwebs or the forums which means you are stuck using MSI support which is not a pleasant or productive experience. It has EZDebug lights (you can see one lit just above the 24pin connector) which you would think were there to help work out what was going wrong, but alas… nobody seems to know what they actually…
