Bought this with a Ryzen 5 3400g. A VERY INPORTANT ISSUE IS THIS BOARD IS…IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH BOTH THE 3200G OR 3400G.
It is a pity I found no information on Amazon but found out on the box itself

Sicuramente, come credo sia chiaro, non stiamo parlando di una motherboard di primo livello.
Il chipset B450 per quanto sia un ottimo chipset, non è nemmeno dei più nuovi e non supporta ancora PCI. 4.0.
Ma per chi non deve fare un pc dedicato al gaming o con previsioni di super upgrade in tempi brevi, su questa motherboard può montare tutto ciò che arriva dalle serie 2 e 3000 dei Ryzen 5 o 7 senza nessun problema.
Gestendo esa e octa core hyper threading senza problemi e con qualità, grazie anche ai sistemi di gestione Asus.

Scheda madre sulla quale ho inserito un processore Ryzen 5 3600. Non è stato necessario alcun aggiornamento con il bios, come sarebbe stato necessario con alcuni modelli B450 che costano meno e oltretutto andrà benissimo anche per la prossima generazione di Ryzen zen 3. Ci sono ottime istruzioni e non ho avuto alcun problema nell’assemblaggio. Funziona alla grande per cui la consiglio. Con Asus non ho mai avuto problemi in generale.

Scheda madre ottima a basso prezzo. Qualitativamente è ottima anche se la guida non è in italiano. Bisogna essere abbastanza esperti per capire questa Mobo. La connettività è impressionante, riesci a raggiungere wifi a 20 metri a velocità altissime.
Acquistata a 135 euro , ottima qualità prezzo. Presenta un led fisso giallo quasi invisibile ma fa il suo dovere alla perfezione. Sento di consigliarla anche se con 50 euro in più si ha una scheda madre ATX e non micro come questa, molto molto piu buone

I thought that I’d install Windows 7 + service pack 1 using my optical drive on my SSD using this motherboard then go the free upgrade route to Windows 10.
Shock Horror! This motherboard only supports a direct Windows 10 installation. I tried using a wired USB keyboard and a wired USB mouse but neither of them would work on the attempted initial Win 7 installation.
In the end I had to give up!
However, my son Googled this motherboard details and found at the bottom of some text, that the board ONLY supports Windows 10. It’s a good job I’ve got…

Voller Vorfreude habe ich mir am 25.06.2020 das B550M-A von Asus zum sportlichen Preis von 138,90 € bestellt, es sollte seinen Vorgänger das B450M-A ablösen. Dazu wird es aber nicht kommen, denn ein Produkt aus 2020 muss einfach mehr bieten.
Vorweg: Das Asus B550M-A hat auch gute Seiten! Es enspricht seinem Vorgänger quasi 1 zu 1, nur der Chipsatz ist ein anderer. Ausserdem hat das Board, im Vergleich zum Vorgänger, einen zusätzlichen 4 Pin Lüfteranschluss was einem erlaubt neben dem CPU Fan auch noch drei zusätzliche Case Fans zu betreiben….

Probabilmente un ottimo prodotto per le serie Ryzen precedenti. O anche per la serie 5000 una volta aggiornato il bios che sulla carta supporta. Ma se non fornita con Bios aggiornato e non si avvia una volta montato un Ryzen 5600x… come dovrebbe fare uno ad aggiornarlo il bios?
Inutilizzabile quindi costretto a chiedere il reso.

Works perfectly.
Only warning I would give us that this board has no function to allow you to update the bios without a cpu. This means if you buy a very recently released cpu with this board, it may not work until you get your hands on an older cpu that will allow you to flash the bios (or, like me, just take it to a local repair shop who will do it for you) to work with your newer cpu.
Apart from that, during works great. No complaints.

So I decided to save a few bucks and buy Asus instead of Gigabyte which is what I’ve been buying for over 15 years since my last POS Asus board. NEVER again. This board just doesn’t seem to like Windows being installed on an NVMe SSD. Also, the Armoury Crate software wouldn’t install after finally getting Windows loaded on the NVMe. It just kept running in a loop bringing up a command prompt over and over. It installed fine when Windows was installed on an HDD, but not on the NVMe SDD.

La scheda è perfetta per la costruzione di un pc di fascia medio-bassa.
Ha un bios molto facile da navigare con la possibilità di impostare profili predefiniti senza smanettare parecchio quindi scheda ottima per chi è alle prime armi con la costruzione del proprio pc.
A livello di qualità prezzo è tra le migliori soprattutto per gli slot di espansione disponibili.

.. qualche problema c’è! Dopo aver terminato gli aggiornamenti, l’installazione dei driver e tutto quel che c’era da fare, il bluetooth continua a non funzionare bene. Ne sto facendo a meno continuando ad utilizzare un adapter USB in mio possesso, ma è un peccato.
L’installazione è stata molto facile, le dimensioni ridotte della scheda mi hanno permesso di assemblare un piccolo PC da salotto in poco tempo. Nonostante le piccole dimensioni la scheda riesce ad ospitare una RX 580 8GB senza problemi, anche se gli ultimi cablaggi richiedono un…

Asus è una sicurezza, la scheda è molto bella e funziona prefettamente. Ho dovuto fare il reso per un piccolo difetto ma non do assolutamente la colpa a nessuno. Il gancio che si abbassa per montare la scheda grafica non era montato bene e al primo tentativo di montare una sceheda video e caduta la levetta rendendo leggermente insabile la scheda grafica, ma per il resto erfetta. fatto il reso e presa uguale ma versione plus. consiglio entrambe
