That they’re sending out used motherboards and calling them new, bought this board “brand new” and received a board that’s already got the crt battery installed and is missing the serial number sticker on the board required for registration. Discontinuing my prime membership Aswell as use of this sorry service.

I upgraded from a MSI z270-a PRO with a i7 7700k, to this Z590-A PRO with a i7 11700k. Very easy to install, everything worked like a charm, BIOS is great to use, all the intel built in boosts (oc to 4.8 from 3.6, XMP boost for memory) worked perfectly. God bless MSI.

Box arrived in rough shape, and looks like it may not have been new, but its working well for me. It’s one of the most affordable z590 motherboards on the market.
I’m currently running Unraid with Intel i5 10400. I did have an issue that Unraid was having trouble booting via USB. Once it was up and running there were no issues, but when I shutdown/restarted, or rebooted, Unraid would not boot. I bought the z590 in case I ever decide I want to overclock, this seem like a beginner’s overclocking model.
I also chose this model because it has room for three nvme drives, although only one of them is a PCI x 4.0 slot. Nice and stable motherboard, very happy with the purchase.

Honestly I’m not an MSI fan. I’ve had boards of theirs fail far too many times over the years. However at the price point, it was worth taking a chance and hoping that MSI had finally gotten something right. And they have.
The Z590-A Pro is a great board, well designed with a solid layout and a simple black and grey color scheme. Component layout for SATA ports and the included 3 M.2 slots is excellent. Just keep in mind you cannot use the first M.2 without an 11th gen chip.
