Ho voluto fare un upgrade al mio PC acquistando a buon prezzo (149 euro) queste RAM della Viper Steel da 32 GB a 3200 Mhz di velocità.
A livello di estetica, i moduli sono davvero minimalisti, e fanno a meno dell’illuminazione RGB affidando quindi il design ad una scala di grigi e neri, con il simbolo dell’azienda sul lato e la scritta VIPER nella parte in alto.
Ho installato le RAM senza alcun tipo di problema e appena avviato il PC son Entrato nel BIOS ed ho impostato il profilo XMP per spingere al massimo della loro frequenza queste RAM…

I bought the 4400mhz to start with and realised that was way more than I needed as beyond 3600mhz on Ryzen you don’t get the 1:1 Infinity Fabric so latency goes up – and surprisingly I could not get any decent timings on the 4400mhz below 3866mhz which wasn’t ideal.
So I opted for the 3600mhz to save me £50 and they were OK, but I cannot get anything out of them beyond the XMP settings of 18-19-19, anything else, no matter what will either cause the BIOS to fail to boot or serious errors in memory tests. Ryzen DRAM Calculator would only ever…

Works well for basic tasks. However my BIOS detected that the base speed for this stick is 2133 MHz and not the 3600 MHz advertised. However, with slightly larger latency times 3600 seems to work.

Ideali per chi ha un processore ed una scheda madre che supporti una frequenza di Ram pari a 4000Mhz, tale frequenza si raggiunge grazie all’XMP molto semplicemente, se no la loro frequenza base è di 2666Mhz. Aspetto molto accattivante e di buona fattura anche solo guardandole credo le migliori per qualità prezzo.

I had initially purchased Corsair Vengeance 3200 RAM for my new build Ryzen 3600 PC. The memory initially worked fine. Then I started to get continual random shutdowns. Having run other tests it pointed to a chipset drive on my MSI B450 Carbon AC system. I swapped out the motherboard for an X570 and initially, all was good. I wanted to make sure I got Samsung B-die ram and can confirm these sticks (if you buy above 4000mhz kits) are indeed B-die. Amazing value for money. I bought the 4000mhz kit and have downclocked to 3600mhz so I could dial in the timing and get blazing low latency. At 1.45v i’m hitting 14-14-14-28-280-65535 with perfect stability which is awesome.
Just a tip for new buyers. If you want to run over 3600mhz make sure you board is using t-topology and not daisy chaining for the dimm slots.

Non sono C16 come da descrizione ma C17. Inoltre non vanno assolutamente a 3733, le mie non superano i 2133 senza diventare instabili. Le renderò sicuramente e comprerò un prodotto più credibile. Parecchio deluso.

I see a lot of mixed reviews. It’s always important to check compatibility with your motherboard and processor before getting new RAM, especially when intending to overclock it. Motherboards only support up to 2133MHz, previously 1333MHz (or there about, it’s been a while since I did my research). Since any overclock has to be the user’s decision, the default BIOS settings will always cap the hardware to the highest “stable” speed stated by both the hardware component itself and the motherboard. La descrizione non è corretta, nel titolo oltre alla frequenza di 3866mhz viene riportata la sigla C16 riferita alla latenza. Nella descrizione si specificano addirittura i seguenti valori SPD: 16-18-18-36. Non sono valori corretti! Alla frequenza di 3866mhz i valori di latenza corretti sono: 18-22-22-40. Per 95€ sono un buon acquisto ma non l’affarone e che possono sembrare.
Anche per questa versione il produttore dei chip è hynix.

Sono delle c die, non uno dei migliori chip ma per 89 euro non c’è di meglio, sono 3600 MHz c17-19-19-39, si riesce a giocare con i timing magari portandole a 3600 16-18-18-36 che è il timing migliore per ryzen 3000. Assolutamente da non prendere oltre i 90 euro, al momento della recensione costano 109 (6/10/2019), prezzo troppo alto .
Nel complesso ottime ram come rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Speravo di trovare quelle con chipset Samsung B-die, ma invece pare che la versione da 3733 MHz monta chipset Hynix H5AN8G8NCJR-TFC (si può giocare un po’ con i timings, ma senza esagerare!). Sono riuscito a scendere di poco dai timings “standard”. Ora sto stabile a 16-19-19-38-64 giocando un po’ con i voltaggi (VSoc, Vdimm, VDDP e VDDG), vedremo se in futuro riuscirò a scendere, ma non ci credo troppo!

Leggo alcune recensioni negative, vorrei ricordare solo due importanti cose:
1) Dovete prima di tutto cercare il modello della vostra scheda madre e processore, andare nella scheda tecnica e verificare la velocità massima in mhz supportata per le ram. È inutile comprare ram da 4000mhz se ne supportate 3600 e poi lamentarsi.
2) attivare loverlock delle ram altrimenti avrete ram fisse a 2133mhz.. se avete intel basta entrare nel bios e attivare il profilo ram xmp e avrete la massima frequenza raggiungibile.
